Persimmon consults on 200 Plymouth homes

Persimmon is consulting with local residents on its plans to build 200 homes in Plymouth.

These will form the 10th and final phase of its Saltram Meadow development in Plymstock.

Outline planning permission has already been secured for the new homes, located to the immediate north of the development.

Pedestrian, cycle and bus links to and from Morley Meadow Primary School — which Persimmon delivered — and the proposed market square that ties up the development also make up the plans.

Aldi is currently awaiting approval on their application to bring a store to part of the wider offering at Saltram Meadow.

The consultation event will be held at the sales office of Charles Church (Encombe Street, PL9 7GH) on Wednesday 8th July, between 3:30-7:30pm.

“We are delighted to present our plans for the tenth and final phase of the site which will give a complete view of what to expect once construction has finished,” said a Persimmon spokesperson.

“Alongside the other proposals targeting approval that make up the amenities and placemaking pillars of the masterplan, Persimmon believes Saltram Meadow provides not just somewhere in which to live but a community in which to thrive.”
